UK car-build community — cinematic scroll, hand-coded canvas animations, and a platform built for the owners who know every part number.
MySpec is a community platform for UK car culture — built for the owners who spend Sunday in the garage, not at the dealership. The app lets drivers showcase their build with a full spec sheet, discover nearby cars on a live map, rank on a community leaderboard, and message other owners directly. It's not a listing site. It's an identity. The client needed a landing page that captures this high-performance ethos and operates at a fluid 60fps in real-time.
We crafted an editorial visual identity that feels like a dark showroom meets motorsport editorial. Red (#E8001D) is the only accent color. We engineered a hand-coded Canvas car illustration on the hero section with bezier curves, spinning wheel rims, brake dust particles, and dynamic taillights that scale with scroll velocity. A second full-bleed canvas scrubs through a 150-frame video sequence via GSAP ScrollTrigger, creating a stunning storytelling flow.
Use the player to preview the interaction, motion language, and final product flow directly inside the case study.

All project visuals are now grouped by folder and rendered directly from the live project media archive.
From the first wireframe to the final deployment, every piece was crafted in-house by one coordinated team — so nothing fell through the gaps.
Real-time car illustration with custom bezier curves, spinning rims, axle dust, and dynamic taillight intensity at 60fps.
Cinematic 150-frame video sequence scrubbed on a full-bleed canvas using GSAP ScrollTrigger with ambient particles.
A premium design language combining dark showroom aesthetics, Space Grotesk tracking, and glass shimmers.

Within 60 days of launch, the impact was undeniable.
Every visual decision — from the mark to the motion — designed to feel inevitable.

The visual storytelling and custom canvas animations are a masterclass. They built an experience that feels as premium as the cars on our platform.
